Essential Workplace First Aid Training
Crane Medical Care delivers Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training across Cheshire, Liverpool, Wirral, Chester, Ellesmere Port and the wider North West, with courses arranged for groups at your workplace or another suitable venue.
Our EFAW course gives learners the essential knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently to a workplace emergency. Through clear instruction, hands-on practice and realistic scenarios, learners build the skills and confidence to assess an incident, provide immediate care and know when and how to seek further help.
£120 per person, or £1,000 for a full course of up to 12 learners

What Learners Will Develop
This one-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course equips learners with the practical skills and confidence to act as a workplace first aider in a medical emergency. By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

Assess an emergency scene safely before acting

Recognise the signs that someone is seriously ill or injured

Deliver immediate, appropriate first aid
-
Perform effective CPR on an adult casualty
-
Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
-
Respond effectively to a choking casualty
-
Control serious external bleeding
-
Place an unresponsive, breathing casualty in the recovery position
-
Monitor a casualty's condition while awaiting emergency help

Communicate clearly and calmly with colleagues and emergency services
Course content and assessment are aligned to the latest qualification specification, keeping training current with regulatory and best-practice standards.
